WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME #29

The big news is I've completed writing the manuscript for my debut erotic, LGBT story "The Transformation." I'm now in a multi-step self-editing process using WORD.

I've finalized the cover for the book and now I need to the convert it into to a *JPEG.file, which I will hopefully be able to do this weekend.
If I do, I should be able to release the book by the end of next week

WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME # 28

I’ve finally had a major breakthrough for the writing of my debut erotic romance “The Transformation.”

In the last two days, I’ve written three new chapters consisting of approximately 1,900 additional words. These new chapters gave me a storyline time jump of three years, and a pivotal portion which will allow me to finish this endeavor in several more days.

WHAT' HAPPENING WITH ME # 27

Things have finally begun to move along nicely as far as my erotic writing endeavors are concerned.

To begin I’ve spent a good portion of Saturday, Sunday and today [Monday, October 2^nd] working on what would be my first erotic romance endeavor, The Transformation.

I realized I needed to start tightening up writing as I wanted to move the storyline to its ultimate conclusion which I’ve already got planned. I need chapter 30 and what I’d written for chapter 31, and did a total rewrite for chapter 29. As I write this status report, for this endeavor, I’ve got: 31 Chapters with about 36,400 words and 153 pages [my page count is based on using a 6” x 9” trim if it would be published in print.]

This represents my being about 91% finished for my anticipated final word count of 40,000. And in order to finish this endeavor, keeping this word count in mind, I’ll be compressing the time of the storyline I originally had planned.

WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME # 26

Things have started to put a real damper on my plans to have one of my two major erotic endeavors completed by the end of September with a release that should have taken place this month. Now with a quick review read and my condensing of what I’d planned on writing I should now be able to complete “The Transformation” before the end of this month, arrange for the illustration for the book cover, and with a final triple editing review I can hopefully have it released by the middle of November.

After which it’s on to my second erotic novella endeavor, “Becoming the Bride’s Mother,” which if all goes right I should have it completed by the end of the year, with the release date hopefully being on my birthday in January.

Now, before I venture out to do anything else, I need to check my email, and Twitter account to follow back those who are appropriate; and, then finally my FaceBook account to see what’s happening there.

WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME # 25

It’s been a while since my last update. So, today I’m going to be quite brief.

Here’s an update on my two current endeavors.

“The Transformation” which is my erotic BDSM novella, in the past 10 days I’ve added 5 chapter, 12 pages and approximately 2.700 words. The book also has a shapeshifter element to it.

“Becoming the Bride’s Mother” is an erotic LGBTQ novella for which during these same 10 days I’ve added 8 chapters, 26 pages and approximately 7,800 words. For this endeavor, I’m planning to have a somewhat shocking Epilogue.

In addition, I’ve been pondering in writing another erotic which would be a reverse harem novella in which the protagonist is a big, fat, woman. And therefore I’ve got no title so far for it.

WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME #24

I've got nothing special to report this time around except.

I've just finished a simple read through of what is going to be my first actual erotic BDSM novella "The Transformation." I needed to do this since I haven't really worked on it for a long period of time. I'm allowing this read through to settle down into my mind, and next week I'm going to do a relatively quick re-read/editing using my word processor's program for a spelling/grammar check. This is going to be followed by a search for words which could be used in forming contractions; words like will, would and not. Followed by a search for any passive word like, was.

WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME # 23

I know, I know, I haven’t been around for about 6 weeks, for the first 2 weeks I had been under the weather unable to do much of anything. And for the past four weeks, I got called for jury duty, not the regular jury duty but for GRAND JURY which meant spending four days a week for four weeks at the courthouse. In this type of jury duty, you merely decided whether or not the DA [District Atttorney] can proceed with the prosecution of his cases, during the breaks between cases, I got to plot out in some detail the remaining pages for my debut erotic, BDSM novella, “The Transformation.”

As soon as things really settle down, I’ll get back to writing my novella for which I anticipate typing the final elusive period by mid-August and being able to self-publish it by mid-September solely as a KINDLE. That’s after I complete three rounds of self-editing and get some assistance in creating the cover.

I’m still looking for my fellow erotic writers to interview on my blog.
