WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME # 31

Hi Sweeties,

I’ve finally, at long last, finished my debut erotic romance novel, “The Transformation.” I’ve created the cover and have converted it to the required *.jpeg file, I’ve finalized the font and its size, I just need to do a final run-through, which I’m going to be doing tomorrow. Then it’s off to KDP Publishing to finish creating the files so my KINDLE edition for the book can be released.

I’ve now gone back to my second erotic endeavor “Becoming the Bride’s Mother,” which is currently about 33% finished. Unfortunately, not having looked at the manuscript for about 10 weeks, means I’d need to re-read what I’ve already written slowly to refresh my aging memory of the storyline and to what any revision is necessary. I just gave Chapter 1 a quick glance and I’ve found quite a bit of superfluous stuff which needs to be deleted as it doesn’t move the story along but hinders its flow.

WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME # 30

HI SWEETIES

I've just completed two more rounds of self-editing where I look for keywords which might have something needing to be changed. The first word I search for has been "WAS" which makes writing passive instead of being, which I followed with words that can be used in making contractions.

With the complexity of what the final chapter contains, I need to make I've got no contradictions in what I've written, as well as pulling a few components together into the ending.

WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME #29

The big news is I've completed writing the manuscript for my debut erotic, LGBT story "The Transformation." I'm now in a multi-step self-editing process using WORD.

I've finalized the cover for the book and now I need to the convert it into to a *JPEG.file, which I will hopefully be able to do this weekend.
If I do, I should be able to release the book by the end of next week

I’ve finally had a major breakthrough for the writing of my debut erotic romance “The Transformation.”

In the last two days, I’ve written three new chapters consisting of approximately 1,900 additional words. These new chapters gave me a storyline time jump of three years, and a pivotal portion which will allow me to finish this endeavor in several more days.

WHAT' HAPPENING WITH ME # 27

Things have finally begun to move along nicely as far as my erotic writing endeavors are concerned.

To begin I’ve spent a good portion of Saturday, Sunday and today [Monday, October 2^nd] working on what would be my first erotic romance endeavor, The Transformation.

I realized I needed to start tightening up writing as I wanted to move the storyline to its ultimate conclusion which I’ve already got planned. I need chapter 30 and what I’d written for chapter 31, and did a total rewrite for chapter 29. As I write this status report, for this endeavor, I’ve got: 31 Chapters with about 36,400 words and 153 pages [my page count is based on using a 6” x 9” trim if it would be published in print.]

This represents my being about 91% finished for my anticipated final word count of 40,000. And in order to finish this endeavor, keeping this word count in mind, I’ll be compressing the time of the storyline I originally had planned.

WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME # 26

Things have started to put a real damper on my plans to have one of my two major erotic endeavors completed by the end of September with a release that should have taken place this month. Now with a quick review read and my condensing of what I’d planned on writing I should now be able to complete “The Transformation” before the end of this month, arrange for the illustration for the book cover, and with a final triple editing review I can hopefully have it released by the middle of November.

After which it’s on to my second erotic novella endeavor, “Becoming the Bride’s Mother,” which if all goes right I should have it completed by the end of the year, with the release date hopefully being on my birthday in January.

Now, before I venture out to do anything else, I need to check my email, and Twitter account to follow back those who are appropriate; and, then finally my FaceBook account to see what’s happening there.

WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME # 25

It’s been a while since my last update. So, today I’m going to be quite brief.

Here’s an update on my two current endeavors.

“The Transformation” which is my erotic BDSM novella, in the past 10 days I’ve added 5 chapter, 12 pages and approximately 2.700 words. The book also has a shapeshifter element to it.

“Becoming the Bride’s Mother” is an erotic LGBTQ novella for which during these same 10 days I’ve added 8 chapters, 26 pages and approximately 7,800 words. For this endeavor, I’m planning to have a somewhat shocking Epilogue.

In addition, I’ve been pondering in writing another erotic which would be a reverse harem novella in which the protagonist is a big, fat, woman. And therefore I’ve got no title so far for it.

WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME #24

I've got nothing special to report this time around except.

I've just finished a simple read through of what is going to be my first actual erotic BDSM novella "The Transformation." I needed to do this since I haven't really worked on it for a long period of time. I'm allowing this read through to settle down into my mind, and next week I'm going to do a relatively quick re-read/editing using my word processor's program for a spelling/grammar check. This is going to be followed by a search for words which could be used in forming contractions; words like will, would and not. Followed by a search for any passive word like, was.

WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME # 23

I know, I know, I haven’t been around for about 6 weeks, for the first 2 weeks I had been under the weather unable to do much of anything. And for the past four weeks, I got called for jury duty, not the regular jury duty but for GRAND JURY which meant spending four days a week for four weeks at the courthouse. In this type of jury duty, you merely decided whether or not the DA [District Atttorney] can proceed with the prosecution of his cases, during the breaks between cases, I got to plot out in some detail the remaining pages for my debut erotic, BDSM novella, “The Transformation.”

As soon as things really settle down, I’ll get back to writing my novella for which I anticipate typing the final elusive period by mid-August and being able to self-publish it by mid-September solely as a KINDLE. That’s after I complete three rounds of self-editing and get some assistance in creating the cover.

WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING WITH ME #22

For the past month, I've been sleeping far, far too much, taking naps continuously during the course of a day. I once slept for six straight hours with a quick trip to the bathroom, I immediately back to sleep the instant my head had hit the pillow.

Looking at all of our current endeavors, we decided I should complete my debut erotic LGBT/BDSM novella, “The Transformation” first. I believe I can reach that elusive final period for this manuscript by the end of this month [June]; which, if I set my mind to, I can complete my re-reading and my self-editing process by mid-July, and the actual release by the end of July or the beginning of August.

With my resolving of the, how far should I go issue I had reported in my previous status report, and with 25 days to go I should no problem in writing the three pages a day I need to in order to finish the manuscript by the end of the month.

I’ll be starting my posting of snippets from the manuscript before the end of the week, and asking for feedback for each snippet.

WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING WITH ME #21

I know I’ve been MIA here for quite a long, long time; but with nothing really happening in my life as an erotic author I saw no real need of coming by, merely so I could do a post just to say that.

While I might have expanded my manuscript for my debut erotic LGBT/BDSM novella, “The Transformation” by 3 chapters, 10 pages and approximately 750 words; I’ve been in the same frustrating quandary of how far I should/shouldn’t go in regards to the protagonist’s torture of her now fiancé since my last status report. But, luckily, I do feel I’m about to see the light at the end of the tunnel regarding this impasse, by having her devise some sort of false image in Matt’s mind of what she had him do in his French Maid roleplay.   

I know I’d mentioned I would start posting some snippets from this book where I’m hoping to get some feedback on from you guys. This snippet posting will now start once I’ve resolved the issue in the above.

WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME # 20

Since I’m still deciding what route I should take to get this endeavor self-published I’ve been moving relatively slowing in my re-reading/editing of what is going to be my debut erotic LGBT/BDSM novella, “The Transformation.”  Matt has proposed to Charlene and she’s accepted. Now back at his mountain retreat, she’s donned her Mistress outfit and has already given her new fiancé his first slave treatment in the new dungeon he’s created down in the basement of his home. I’m now debating if I should keep what I’ve already written, increase/decrease Mistress C’s torture of her new slave, or take a totally new bridge to what I’ve already conceived as the book’s last three chapters. As it looks like now, I believe it will take at least two chapters after I finish the chapter I’m currently working on to complete this bridge. Right now I’m on page 110, and I’ve got 20 chapters completed with approximately 28,000 words.

After reviewing the formatting of about 20 books my sweeter side has read/reviewed, it appears I won’t have to worry about the page numbering nor the book’s headers of alternating the book’s title and my name, which eliminates a major burden I had weighing on my mind.

Beginning next month, I’m going to be posting snippets of this endeavor for which I’m hoping to get some feedback on from you guys, my followers.

WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME # 19

Ever since CreateSpace has ceased all of its support services for authors. After some long thought-processing, I've decided to forge ahead with one of my manuscripts, an erotic GLBT/BDSM novella entitled “The Transformation.” One of the reasons I’ve chosen this particular manuscript from the two I’m working on is that it’s going to be a KINDLE version only.

Going forwards with the KINDLE version only, I know that the covers [front and back] will have to be part of the file being converted to the KINDLE format. The biggest problem with designing the cover on our own would be to have the title and my name overlaid onto the artwork for the front cover; however, given what my thoughts for the cover design are, no such overlay would be needed.

The only issue I’ve basically got it for the formatting of the text pages, specifically to get the page numbers to start a few pages in. But, I’m going to check a dozen or so KINDLE-only books I’ve got on my computer to see if physical page numbers are actually necessary for a KINDLE book.

Right now, since I haven’t looked at this particular manuscript or my other erotic novella entitled “Becoming the Bride’s Mother.” And if you’re thinking this one will be involving crossdressing and gender swapping you’re correct.

Regarding, “The Transformation”, I’ve already re-read and edited about 65% of the existing manuscript, and still need to write about 15% more to reach my projected total of 32,500 words. As it stands now, I’ve got 115 pages with approximately 27,600 words.

Going forwards I’ll be posting a few unedited snippets from this manuscript with the hopes of getting some feedback.

With the return of my working on this manuscript, the velocity at which my sweeter side has been reading/writing reviews will now be tapered back.

I know. I know. I know I’ve been M.I.A. [Missing In Action] around here, and as for the reason; besides not having done any writing, I’ve been neglecting myself here and the rest of my social media sites; leaving me to do some heavy catching up.

I've completed re-reading my two Erotic GLBT/BDSM novellas, and I'm now committed to writing ONE page a day in one of my endeavors every day. I'd love to write more, but since there are no funds available to proceed once the elusive final period has been typed in a manuscript, I can't proceed with having a line edit done for it.

I'd been amiss in the writing of my Erotic Haiku which I'm now going to write one per day if I'm able to think of any. I currently have 65 written and need 185 more to reach my goal of 250. This endeavor would be the LEAST EXPENSIVE since I need only pay for the KINDLE conversion and the copyright.

HAPPY NEW YEAR - 2018 WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME #16

This year I'm going to finish writing my first two erotic GLBT/BDSM novellas. One title is "The Transformation" [which is about 90% completed] and the other is "Becoming the Bride's Mother" [which is about 15% completed].
